DCUO : The First

DC Universe Online launched this week and has been showing good numbers and server populations. The dust is far from settled, and the payer spend a good few hours in TERA gold  since it launched mid-afternoon on the 11th. DCUO struck out on the Public Enemies server, a villain as planned with Ice and Acrobatics but Staff instead of Brawling for my weapon of choice. rift gold  Not a lot seems to have changed between the last days of beta and launch, though what do you think that the difficulty of the earlier missions, mobs, and alerts may have been toned down a little. That or just getting used to the changes from beta. You will be interested in knowing how some other beta vets feel, and how the new folks might be taking to the PvE content. Those questions aside, let's do a quick recount of the ups and downs for the first few days of Live. DCUO gold

DCUO : The Interview

Could you go into a little more detail concerning how this will work? How will you determine who gets access to what Iconic characters, how will players initiate matches, and so forth? TERA gold The Legends System in rift gold offers players a chance to play as an iconic character on demand. One of the highlights of recent shows has been the Iconic Play in PvP matches. Fictionally, players take on the guise of an iconic DC character via a simulator. They gain the essential combat abilities, super powers, and movement styles of the iconics. In a variety of simulated famous locations , players go head-to-head in PvP matches to earn fame or infamy for themselves.

Players start off being able to play a couple introductory characters. Over time, they can spend the fame or infamy they earn on unlocking more Legends characters, or they can save their points to buy iconic PvP battlesuits or other PvP gear. But remember, at launch only players who pre-order will be able to play as Batman.  DCUO gold

Rift :The Interview

There has been a lot of talk about Telara's malleable world, which allows for developers to change the properties and appearance of the world on the fly. In the interview, Russ Brown gives some specific examples of how the developers are looking to take advantage of this technology to keep the game fresh to players saying, "Once you have the content like animations, I can tell the servers how they need to behave. Once you have a dragon, I can say ‚A Hey dragon, go attack over here. Hey dragon, go attack over there.

So TERA gold what the subclass system is; we have four basic core classes. And the four classes have their basic roles. You have a fighter, a cleric, a rogue and a mage. The subclass system is how you do hybrids and how you get some specialization in your class. Given this example, so you want to play a paladin who is more of a fighter who can heal, you‚Äôll play a subclass paladin on a fighter. rift gold If you want to play a paladin who is more like a cleric who can fight, you‚Äôll play a paladin as a subclass to the cleric.

There will also be "boatloads" of these sorts of hybrid subclasses in the game.  The subclasses will apparently even drop off monsters, The real question then is, how the heck do they plan to balance all these subclasses? Russ has got an answer for that one too. DCUO gold

Rift : The Righteous Justicar

In the darkness of my unconsciousness, I found myself back on the Kelari Isles. I couldn’t firmly grasp what I was recalling: flowing blood in the city streets, the shrill exhortations of a high priestess pushing Kelari to waiting boats, an armada leaving a doomed homeland to the dragon cults

TERA gold  development team have partnered with to bring you a continuing lore series. rift gold This week is the final episode of "Defiant to the End" and is subtitled "The Righteous Justicar".  It's an action-packed story that comes with exclusive screenshots. Read on! Rift Gold

Rift: the Storm Legion and an old man’s tea

Cult of Crucia: the Storm Legion
Once, Crucia possessed a vast empire, unflinching armies, and the most sophisticated spy network in Telara’s history. Now, the Storm Queen can merely invade and overthrow the minds of mortals who lack the monumental will to resist her. TERA gold  A lifelong friend suddenly changes expression and becomes a deadly assassin. Children turn against their parents, and kings are killed by their consorts, who the night before swore love eternal. Crucia cannot fully control everyone in her cult, but once touched, the thrall remains something of a blank slate, easy pickings for further control. Crucia has worn their minds smooth, as the wind scours the mountainside.

An old man’s tea
Of wise Won Odego, the first Paragon, the Bahmi tell this tale. Won Odego had a pupil, his sister’s daughter, strong and swift. She fought with the unpredictable grace of a hurricane, and her mind likewise was fetterless and wild. rift gold So the master bade his student make tea every morning, at just the same moment, just the same brew, just the same heat in summer or snow. “Why?” asked the pupil. But Won Odego only smiled. The student made the tea right, but without care – for a mistress of the sword, how trivial a task to brew the same tea every morning?

Then one morning, Won Odego sat down to tea that scalded his lip. He crossed his swords behind his neck, catching his student’s blow, then spun and met her onslaught. For days, blades sang on blades. DCUO gold This white-eyed puppet had the pupil’s strength and skill, but none of her inventiveness. Eventually she lay still, Odego’s slash across her throat. She who revels in the storm must keep one toe on the ground,” said Won Odego, and the wind brushed the tears from his eyes.

Rift : A Rot Upon the Land

Death TERA gold  are the subject of a new lore article from the Rift: Death rifts are gateways to the planes of doom where the spectres, mummies and lichs wander hopelessly. Things rot under pools of black oil, ready to yank prey down to a gruesome end, and mummies wait in elaborate tombs that were not built by hand, but grew from the land like cysts.

The Plane of Death is an endless, flat expanse of dust and bleached bone. Shadowy tendrils slither across the horizon, while vast obsidian spikes tear from the ground to claw at skies of purple and gray. Small volcanoes rise from the ground as grass and soil burn away, leaving cracked, ashen bedrock. Ungerground gases poison the tress, the smell of sulfur seeping between withered roots. DCUO gold Where once brooks flowed, trees bloomed, and life abounded, this Fire Rift brings streams of lava, charred stumps, and the smoldering corpses of every living thing caught in the inferno.rift gold
